Sesame Steamed Buns are a delightful and traditional Asian treat featuring soft and fluffy buns filled with a sweet sesame paste. These buns are perfect for breakfast, snacks, or as a dessert, offering a comforting and flavorful bite that is both satisfying and delicious.

The dough for the steamed buns is made from a mixture of flour, yeast, sugar, and water, kneaded until smooth and elastic. The dough is allowed to rise until doubled in size, then divided into small portions and filled with a sweet sesame paste made from ground sesame seeds and sugar.

The filled buns are shaped into smooth rounds and placed in a steamer to cook until they are soft, fluffy, and cooked through. The result is a bun with a light and tender exterior and a sweet, creamy sesame filling.

Sesame Steamed Buns can be enjoyed plain or with a sprinkle of sesame seeds for added texture. They are perfect for any time of day and are a popular choice for dim sum or afternoon tea.

These buns are loved for their soft texture and the sweet, rich flavor of the sesame paste, making them a favorite among those who enjoy traditional desserts.
